Geovent is part of Task Force Viborg, which consists of a number of companies and public institutions that work to get more young people into education and work.
“Like a number of other companies, we want to make a difference to get young people into education and into work. It is difficult to do it alone, which is why we have engaged in Task Force Viborg,” says Geovent’ s Sales and Marketing Director, Kim Møller Rasmussen.
Task Force Viborg has carried out a number of initiatives, such as to give young people the opportunity to work in a company for a day. It has e.g. been as a craftsman or in the hotel industry. In addition to creating a network between young people and companies, Task Force Viborg has helped secure more than 80 young people a job.
“We have chosen to continuously have students, apprentices and young employees on work trials, as part of our direct efforts to get young people started on the labor market”, adds Kim Møller Rasmussen. “The decision to participate in Task Force Viborg is part of Geovent’ s ESG policy, which, among other things, also deals with a number of initiatives around Sustainability and Co2 reduction.”
